I became an Electrologist 27 years ago! Wow! I don't feel that old!

I had received electrolysis treatments myself, unsuccessfully, for four years when I realized that something just wasn't right. Not only was my unwanted hair not permanently going away, it was coming back much worse! I decided to put myself through school full-time in order to become a licensed electrologist (something that was not required to work as an electrologist at that time) and worked full-time as well.

I knew that I wanted to be an electrologist because I wanted to help women like myself. I knew that I could permanently remove hair, without it coming back. I never wanted anyone to have a bad experience with an uneducated electrologist like I did. There are still under-qualified electrologists out there, but that is why maintaining state licensure and participating in continuing education is so very important.

I am a member of the Advisory Board for Electrologists in the state of Illinois. I take my occupation very seriously and make keeping up with best practices a priority so that I can continue to provide a permanent solution for hair removal.

After being an Electrologist for so long, I had clients asking me a ton of questions about concerns that they had for their skin. I knew that I could not personally provide an educated answer, I decided to once again put myself through full-time Esthetics School and became a State Licensed Esthetician. This has helped my business thrive even more! I learned how to perform facials, skin peels, waxing, microdermabrasion, and specialize in my favorite, Brazilians.

I have nothing but the upmost respect for my clients. They are always my number one priority. I strive to be the best that I can possibly be, and will always continue to stay in compliance with all of my licensing requirements.

I love my job, and I love all of my clients. They are truly the best people around!
